I have been tagged!

Ok, so the title should read "I was tagged along time ago, but I am just now sitting down to write this blog." Thanks to April who tagged me, y'all will get to read 6 little tid bits about me. They are supposed to be interesting facts, but I have to say this is going to be hard - I am an extremely boring person!  So here we go . . .

1.  Most of you already know that I married my best friend from high school.  We went our separate ways in college, dated other people, remained close friends, and after my graduation decided to give "us" a try.  So many people predicted this outcome, why did it take us so long to figure it out??

2.  When I was growing up we had a boy cat named Precious and a girl cat named Bob.  I named Precious thinking it was a girl, but when we took her to get "fixed" the doctor disagreed with me about the gender.  And my brother always wanted a cat named Bob.

3.  The first time I got my hair professionally cut was when I was in college!  My mom used to "do hair"  when she first got married and quit when she had my brother and I.   However, she kept cutting away on her family's hair.  She stopped cutting mine, but still cuts my brother's, dad's, and now Jackson's hair.

4.  When I was in college I spent one summer on a mission trip to Ukraine through an organization called Student Mobilization.  I stayed with my friend Olga who I met the summer before.  It was truly one of the best life changing experiences of my life.

5. We have one more "shoot" and we will be done with our taping of House Hunters.  I am glad that we did this, even though it has been a major pain and now the whole world will see that we truly are dorks.

6.  I have recently started sewing and love it.  Most of my friends still can't believe this.  Need I say more?

So now I get to tag six people:
Elizabeth - who I know will have some interesting stuff to share
Katharine - who is "nesting" and will blog about this sooner  rather than later
Kelly - who will probably laugh about this and forget it
Anna - who is at home with a newborn and a 2 year old, and who I am sure has "free" time
Sunny - who I am trying to get back in to the business of blogging
Lori - who is my sweet cousin and has just started blogging

Y'all have fun, and I can't wait to read what you write!
