Turkey Trot

We did it! After training for a month and half with Couch to 5K, Mark and I ran in our first 5K on Thanksgiving. (Yes, we had to train to run 3 miles - no laughing!)

We left the boys with Dee Dee and Papa and headed to DC for the 5K Turkey Trot! Mark clocked a great time, but still got beat by a turkey. And I met my goal of running the whole time without stopping! We both had fun, and this will hopefully become a new family tradition.

10 months

Weight: around 20 pounds
Diapers: Size 4
Sleep: We have good nights, and then BAM we cut two teeth at a time. We have a couple of more good nights, and then BAM we have a bad allergic reaction which calls for steriods. Fun times!

Food: Still on purees and puffs, and now loves cheerios too. He can't shovel them in fast enough. We haven't started too many finger foods until we get tested for allergies.
Fun Facts: He has the most adorable smile ever.


- He is a speedy crawler and has even started pulling up on things.

- His teeth are finally coming in, but in a rather odd way. He got all four bottom teeth in first. Then the top two right teeth, and next the top left one. Hmmm . . . never seen that before.


- He loves throwing balls with big brother,


- and of course chewing on balls while watching Jackson's football games.


- He also is very good at investigating everything. "What does this do?"


- "Well that's a lot of fun! Mom, want to try it?"


- We love you so much little guy and can't even remember life before you came into our hearts!

The Mighty Little Titans

The Little Titans finished their season, and Jackson was actually sad it was over. We have no idea how many games we won or lost, but a good time was had by all!


Jackson gained so much confidence over the season. He was giving us thumbs up before some of the plays.


His last run with the ball. He didn't score, but he was running as fast as he could!


Though the season started off with a rough start, by the end Jackson had gained friends, confidence, perseverance, and even a few football skills. Not bad for a month full of football practice and games!
