"Remember last year when we went on a bear hunt, and we didn't see any bears. That was fun!" (Everything is last year even if it was the day before). I think we will definitely have to make another trip out there sooner rather than later!
We met up at Sunny's house, loaded all the kids, and headed out. I still laugh at this picture. She's got a packed car with four kiddos.
We had a nice picnic lunch where Jackson was too excited to eat anything. Then we headed out towards the trail. The trail was marked with bear paws. The kids kept close watch for the bear paws and couldn't wait to spot the next one. However, Jackson kept thinking the bear paws were going to lead us to a bear. Let's just say he was very disappointed when we never found a bear.
At times the trail got a little steep, but the kids did great! And yes, that is Hudson on Sunny's back.
We made it back to the main road, and Jackson thought that Georgia might need a little help.
By the time we got to the car, we were all tired but happy. We hope to go back soon to see if the bears are "back from vacation" which is were Jackson finally decided must be where all the bears are. Let's just hope they stay on vacation every time we go back!

Awww, I love the pics! We had a great time too and we'll have to do it again soon!!
It looks like you all had quite an adventure. What a wonderful day for the little ones. I can't imagine hiking with a little one on your back. Great job, Sunny. Yes, I even heard about the bear hunt while I was there. Love, DeeDee
