Watch Out Strasburg

Here comes Jackson! We took Jackson to a local high school baseball game, and he was hooked. He has always loved playing t-ball, but now he also wanted to run the bases and pitch. The next day we found a baseball field so he could hit the ball, run the bases, score runs, and pitch to mom and dad. However, he kept talking about needing a jersey.

This is were Papa enters the story. Papa and my brother both played baseball in their younger days, and they were both #7. So Papa worked his magic . . . .

The tradition lives on! If only they lived closer to teach him all their secret pitches.

The Nationals jerseys are not orange, but that is Jackson's favorite color. It will just have to work until he turns pro and wears a real Nats jersey.

WOW!! What a Baseball Player!!!!PaPa and I love the sweet smile. It is so nice to know that the legend lives on in our grandson. Wish we could watch him play; and PaPa and Uncle Ryan could help him learn to pitch. This is a perfect Father's Day gift for PaPa. Give him hugs. Love, PaPa and DeeDee

Great! He looks so cute! He has lots of sports genes(not from me), so he will be great at whatever he loves best. We can keep praying that maybe you will move a little closer to us someday! Ha! Love, Emmy
