The Big Apple

Over Memorial Day weekend, some friends and I went to New York City for a super fun girls' weekend. We rode the bus for a whopping round trip price of $39.00 - which meant we had more money to spend when we got there! I will admit that I was a little skeptical of the bus ride, but I would definitely do it again.

Dr. Kelly Sheers, Meg, and Jen waiting for the bus.

Here is the view from our room - the Chrysler Building. Not too bad huh?

The weather was absolutely perfect. It was fore casted to rain, but it was two days of nice sunny weather. We hopped on a carriage to take a stroll through Central Park.

After that it was time to head to a Broadway play. We saw A Little Night Music which was fantastic. We were lucky enough to see Angela Landsbury and Catherine Zeta-Jones who just won a Tony Award for her performance for this play. What a treat!!

And then my camera battery died . . . . but the fun continued. We ate at some great little local restaurants, strolled through different neighborhoods, and did a little shopping. It was a great weekend, and I hope we can do it again soon. Maybe our next stop should be Chicago!?!?!
