Women's Conference

This weekend our church held its annual Women's Conference.  It is either held here at the church or at a resort on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland.  This year it was here in town, but a couple of us decided to make it a little stay-cation.  The Ritz was giving a discount, so it didn't take long for us to make our reservation!

We first met up with the rest of the group for a yummy dinner at Cafe Deluxe.

Then it was off for a night of worship and teaching and of course a stop by the Cheesecake Factory on the way back to our hotel.

Saturday was more of the same - worship and teaching.  It was a wonderful weekend spent focusing on the Lord and what He wanted to show me. It's funny that it takes several different people and studies for me to finally get His truth sometimes! I am glad that I have a God that doesn't give up on me and loves me too much to leave me alone unchanged!  It was also a true blessing to share this weekend with these ladies who sharpen me every week!
