Jackson has been wanting to have a lemonade stand all summer. We finally let him set one up this weekend. He kept talking about how it was perfect weather for lemonade. He even noticed the Open House signs across the street and mentioned that our street would be busy with people. So off to work we went.
First he had to triple clean the table. Then he worked with his daddy to make the lemonade and fill the ice trays.
Next he worked on his sign - complete with rainbows and cross stickers because the are both beautiful of course!
Finally he was open for business!
After texting a couple of friends, the customers started to roll in! We had to close shop because we ran out of cups and ice. Jackson told each customer thank you and gave them a nice firm handshake. And let's just say there are some good tippers out there!
He walked away with a little more than $20 - not too bad for an hour's worth of work. While he was working his stand, he decided that he wanted to earn money to put towards a video game. Needless to say we now own the game Little Big Planet!

Go Jackson! 20$ worth of tips is no small deal. I like the firm handshake and thank you bit... I will mentally file away that bit of (yet another) great bit of Johnson parenting.
Great job, Jackson. PaPa says he would sure like a piece of your action. You had to really work hard getting all set up. We love your sign. Wish we could have bought a glass from you. Next time, tell Dad you need way more glasses, ice, and product. HA!! We are sure proud of you. Love, PaPa and DeeDee
How could anyone resist buying from such a cute boy? I was always a sucker for a cute little children, but especially little boys! I guess I still am. I am lucky most of our neighbors are old now! Jackson has certainly gotten over his shy stage, and I love his industry in wanting to make money--a boy after my own heart! Love, Emmy
