Dutch Wonderland

My mom just left after a fun filled 10 day visit. We worked, rested, and played. First up on our agenda - Dutch Wonderland. We haven't been for two years, and we were excited to go back. It was a perfect day - a little overcast and not crowded at all which meant hardly no lines!

When we first arrived we all hopped on the train to tour the park. It was Braden's first and only ride. However, I do think he enjoyed it!

The rest of the time he was either checking out all the kids or relaxing like this . . .

Jackson couldn't wait to go on his very first roller coaster. We started with a small one and worked our way up to the big one. The big one was a lot faster than I thought it was going to be! After our first drop, Jackson was holding on to me tight with a look of panic on his face. Fortunately, we both survived virtually unharmed.

Next up the log ride which we both loved. It was a nice way to cool down. So of course we had to ride it several times.

Jackson also wanted to practice his driving skills. We did this at least ten times in a row. The last time he decided he wanted to steer and push the gas pedal.

Next it was time for a nice relaxing ride high up in the sky.

This was another of his favorite "rides" that we did no less than 20 times.

After I got tired of climbing the stairs, Jackson braved it on his own. And then it was another 20 times down the slide.

We were exhausted by the time we left, but Dutch Wonderland I'm sure we will be back!

Oh what a wonderful fun day we had. The weather was perfect, the lines were short, and I was with my boys and Stacy. "Life is good." Thank you for all the fun and sharing the love. Love and miss you already, DeeDee
