Mississippi Children's Museum

While we were hanging out in Jackson, we had a chance to visit the new Mississippi Children's Museum. I had heard great things about it and couldn't wait to take Jackson there. It did not disappoint! We were there for nearly three hours, and Jackson still didn't want to go home! I think we will be stopping by there every time we head down south. I loved how many of the different exhibits taught the kids about Mississippi.

After convincing Jackson that we did not need to speed through the place and that we could take our time at each activity, he settled in to build a boat to race. There were several different styles of boats to pick from, so we made a couple.

Then it was racing time! Jackson even cheered his boat along to victory.

Next up, painting.

He even had time to wonder on down to the fields to milk a cow. He looks thrilled, doesn't he?

There is a huge Nissan plant located in Canton, so there was a Maxima there that needed tires changed and gas pumped.

Building a house can be a tough job, but someone has to do it.

After shopping for some fresh veggies and fruit, it was time to scan them for their nutritional value.

After all that hard work, we took some time to play a little game of Scrabble.

It was an exhausting but exciting day.
