Splash Down

We have been so hot this summer and have had to find different ways of trying to keep cool! One of the best ways was hitting a local water park called Splash Down. We spent all day splashing around in the pool, floating down the lazy river, and zipping down water slides. Jackson even got to experience his first water slides, and he was hooked from the start!

He started off on a little slide,

but quickly graduated to the bigger slides.

Here is how we spent most of the day . . .
First patiently waiting in line at the top of the water slide.

Next cautiously sliding down the water slide.

Finally making a big splash.

Sometimes even being a little daring and going down on the tummy,

but still making that big slash.

And of course climbing back up to the top to repeat at least 56 times.

Once we dragged ourselves out of the pool to dry off and head home, we were all water logged and tired.

We all slept like rocks that night, but woke up wondering when we can go back.

Now that is the way to cool off. I am really impressed with the gradual progression to the "Greatest" slide "Ever". I can just see that face with each new ride. I am sure you all were worn slick. What fun!! Love you, DeeDee and PaPa

Mark loved water slides, and it looks like Jackson does too! Did you go while the power was out?
