Shiver Me Timbers

Ahoy! We tuned into our inner pirate and headed out to conquer the mighty seas. Or I guess you could say we dressed up in a "pirate" vest and sailed around Baltimore's Inner Harbor. But that doesn't sounds as adventurous so we will just stick with the first story.

Jackson looks like a real pirate in his nice kahki shorts and polo shirt, right? Of course he wanted no part of the dressing up. Mark and I even dressed up and that still didn't convince him.

After setting sail, we all learned how to talk like pirates, dance like pirates, and defend our ship like pirates. Jackson didn't want any part of the talking or dancing, but he LOVED defending the ship with the water cannons.

The crew did a great job of entertaining the kiddos and weaving a tale of a bad pirate who stole our key to the locked treasure. Once we got the key back, each junior pirate got to pick out some treasure from the chest.

Fair winds me matey, until next time!
