The Great Pumpkin

We were a little late carving our pumpkin this year. Okay, we were really late. We bought and carved our pumpkin on Halloween, but at least it didn't get nibbled on by the squirrels. It was slim pickins at the pumpkin patch, but we made it work.

The before:
It's a tad bit crooked, but with a little love

and a whole lot of scooping,

and some supervising from the the little guy,

until the little guy gets distracted,

you can end up with a nice looking jack-o-lantern.
The after:

Not to bad for waiting until the last possible minute!!

I missed carving my pumpkin this year. I guess I need to slow down. I am glad you carried on the tradition even if last minute. You know the saying, better late than never--my motto! Your looks great!

Great pumpkin!! It never matters when they are done, only that they are done. HA!! Jackson really worked hard. I guess Braden was either supervising or learning for next year. Good job, Boys. Love, DeeDee
