However, after fifty-four pep talks, three afternoon practices, two family backyard practices, and one Saturday game, things are finally looking up. Mark has even turned into an unofficial coach. Actually according to Jackson, daddy has a new job - his football coach. The pay is horrible, but the kids all love him!
The Yellow Lil Titan is ready for his first game!

Pre-game warm up with Coach Andy! First on the list: stretching.
Next is the flag pulling drill.
Then running and guarding the ball as Mark yells, "Don't you fumble my football!!"
The warm up finally concludes with a team meeting. Jackson loves yelling "Go Titans!" at the end of the huddle!
Now the Lil Titans are ready for the game, and Jackson actually got to start!
Sitting on the sideline to cheer on the rest of his team.
The game was a blast to watch! The coaches are on the field with them and are sometimes literally picking them up to put them in position.
The best news yet - he officially finished the game with absolutely no tears! We were so proud of our little football player! He had so much fun and is already asking when the next game will be played. He was a team player, and cheered on his friends. He listened to the coaches. He hustled on and off the field, and tried his hardest. Now, did he always run in the right direction? Did he pull any flags or even touch the football? Nope, but we will get there - we still have four games left!

Absolutely the cutest "Lil yellow Titan" ever. The pictures are wonderful, almost like being there. He is so in to the game and so happy with his Daddy/Coach.. All that other stuff will get there. Great job, Jackson. We are so proud of you. I have actually heard Mark say, "don't drop my football". Wish we could see him play. Love, PaPa and DeeDee
At least he is trying and looking good! That is half the game. I just hope he has fun. He looks good in yellow(and red and blue!). All favorite colors! Each game he will improve. I can't wait to see the next set of pictures. Love, Emmy
