Old Town St. Patrick's Day Parade

We headed over for Old Town's annual St. Patrick's Day Parade this Saturday. The weather was absolutely beautiful, and I think Spring might actual be on its way!!! As soon as we got to King Street, we found our spot on the curb and waited for the parade to start.

Jackson loved dancing to all the bagpipes. He just couldn't stop dancing and tapping his foot.

And then this guy shows up in the parade? Ummmm it's a St. Patrick's Day parade, right?

When I was a kid and went to parades, I remember there being lots of candy. Not so much at this parade. Poor Jackson just kept waiting and waiting for the candy to come . . .

And then finally he got one dum dum sucker and some chocolate - Success!

Glad our little man finally got some candy. I love the shades, just like Daddy. Sounds like a lot of fun. Love, DeeDee
