On Christmas Eve we attended the 3:00 children's service at church. We were a little distracted the entire service, because Jackson did not want to miss the chance to light his glow stick. "Is it time now? How do I light it? What about now?" As you can guess we didn't need the glow sticks until the very last song of the service. Hopefully next time the people in charge won't mention the words "glow sticks" until we need them. We then headed to an early dinner at Sweet Water Tavern - yummy! By the time we were done with dinner, it was dark outside so we could make our annual trip to see the White House Christmas tree. Jackson loved seeing all the trains and even found a new Thomas train circling the tree.

We didn't stay too long because it got cold quick, and Jackson needed to get to bed before Santa's arrival. And boy oh boy did he arrive with a bag full of goodies.
Christmas evening we headed to Mississippi to see the family. We had a great time seeing friends and family, and Jackson LOVED hanging out with all his cousins.
Jackson kept asking if Zoe could play with him . . . Maybe next year, little buddy!
Ainslee, Olivia, and Jackson played and played at Emmy's house.
Jackson even got to decorate his annual gingerbread train.
We had a great Christmas and a great time down South. Jackson is already asking, "When it is Christmas again, can we go to Mississippi? When's it going to be Christmas again?" Oh my, it might be a long year!

I was about to give up on new posts and thought Jackson's/Stacy's new video game had taken priority. Ha! We could always have a mini Christmas in the middle of the year! Stores have Christmas in July so we could too! Love, Emmy
We love the Christmas post and the pictures you included. The National tree is beautiful. It doesn't surprise us that Jackson found the new Thomas train. It does look like Jackson had a wonderful time at home and in MS. Love you all, PaPa and DeeDee
