We had a small family celebration involving cupcakes, presents, and Potbelly - can it get much better than that? The day started with "popcirlces" with friends at the park and lunch at his favorite restaurant Potbelly. We then made cupcakes and waited patiently for daddy to come home so we could open presents.
Jackson and one of his friends, Bradford, had their birthday party together at JW Tumbles. I have to say that it is one of the best places to have a birthday party. The staff was great, and the kids had a blast. The best part was that I didn't have to clean up and my house didn't get destroyed!!
We could hardly get the birthday boys to sit still long enough to take their picture. This is the best picture we could get.
The kids hung from bars,
went down slides,
kept a very tight hold on the basketball at all times,
constructed bridges,
climbed ladders,
and finally ate birthday cupcakes - to be more specific Jackson ate just the cupcake frosting.
All in all it was a great day or maybe more appropriate a great birthday month.

I am glad to see some pictures since we forgot to look at them this week-end. It looks like Jackson had a great time. I wish I could have been there.
I certainly enjoyed my time with all of you Labor Day week-end, and I will tell everyone not to miss the National Cathedral. It was much more impressive than I expected.
Love,
Emmy
Thanks for letting us share Jackson's birthday again this year. We did enjoy seeing all of his friends and watching them have so much fun. We can't believe he is 3 already. Love the pictures and comments. Love you, DeeDee
