From 3 to 2

Obviously these pictures are old - we are not still wearing winter coats around here. But I had to write about my little guy graduating from his tricycle to a bicycle with training wheels. So I guess technically he went from three wheels to four, but you get the idea right? Anyway, one of Mark's coworkers gave Jackson a bike that his little boy had out grown. Jackson couldn't wait to try it out. It took about two afternoons, and he was a pro!

To get started he needed a couple of pushes and a few words of encouragement.

It didn't take him long to figure out that when you push the pedals backwards you come to an abrupt stop!

Riding all by himself!

Next up . . . to ditch the training wheels!

Coordination will never be jackson's problem! He is a quick learner and very athletic! Thankfully, he doesn't take after me on the athletics. Glad to see the blog is up again!

Great job, Jackson. You are so athletic and can do so many things. You look very comfortable on that bike. I am sure the trainers will be gone before we know it. You are growing way to fast.... Love you, DeeDee
