The Week in Review

We started the week out by cleaning like every other yucky Monday! Jackson decided that he wanted to help clean the bathroom. So like every good mom out there, I gave him a sponge and told him to knock himself out. (Child labor laws don't apply to your own kids, right??) Now if I could just get him to fold the laundry . . . .

Tuesday night Mark and I decide to rearrange his choo choo set to work better on his table. Now you might be thinking, that sounds pretty easy, it is after all just a toy train set. This is where I will strongly disagree with you. I swear you need a degree in engineering to achieve the perfect track lay out! We worked on it forever, but we finally got a track that does not dead end and utilizes all the major train buildings. Isn't it beautiful???

Jackson woke up the next morning saying, "Choo Choo, momma, choo choo track - YEA!!!"

Thursday Mark and Jackson decided to stretch their hamstrings before going for a walk.

This weekend has been busy. We started by shopping for a sofa bed for our new guestroom/playroom/office. After checking out a couple of stores in town, I remembered my friend telling me about a great furniture outlet store out in Leesburg. So I checked the interent for the address, and we headed out to the outlet mall hoping to find the couch of our dreams for an unbelievable price. Several toll fares and an hour later, we are finally there to find several things: 1) the entire population of Virginia has also decided to go shopping 2) which means no parking spaces 3) the furniture store that is suppose to have our dream sofa has been closed!!! Needless to say we were in no mood to shop for other bargains, so we got back in the car and headed home. About half way home we started laughing about our great experience. Jackson even got in on the fun.

We all got the giggles when we started pretend sneezing - AHHH AHHH CHOOOOOO! We were past the point of delirious.

Finally we made it home to chill out while watching shows and eating popcorn before hitting the sack!

What a fun-filled day you all had, even with no sofa. You really captured little boy in all of his fun, except maybe the (Ahem) bathroom cleaning. HA!! You do a great job writing these, and I do look forward to seeing each new segment. Give Jackson a hug from us. Love, PaPa and DeeDee
